This Wood Information Sheet covers the following wood-based panels intended for structural use: cement-bonded particleboard, fibreboard, oriented strand board (OSB), resin-bonded particleboard (also known as chipboard), plywood and solid wood panels. This Wood Information Sheet was revised in June 2016. Changes were made to the text to reflect the 2015 amendment to BS EN 13986 and there is a new reference to BS EN 594. New information has been added to show what the CE mark should include.
